Does this come with an SSD?
No. The dock is an enclosure that supports up to an 8TB M.2 NVMe SSD, which you install yourself using the included screws and thermal pad. The SSD itself is sold separately.
Is this dock compatible with all Mac mini models?
No. This dock is designed specifically for Mac mini M1 and M2. Check your Mac mini model before purchasing to ensure compatibility.
How fast is the SSD transfer speed?
The built-in NVMe enclosure connects via a 40Gbps Thunderbolt interface. Under typical conditions, transfer speeds reach approximately 2400 to 2800MB/s, depending on the M.2 NVMe SSD used.
Will placing the Mac mini vertically in the dock affect Wi-Fi?
In normal use, no noticeable impact. The structure avoids common antenna areas and keeps clear air gaps, so 2.4/5GHz signals are not blocked.
