Q1: What does the black button on the TB501 Pro do?
A: It controls the fan. The fan auto-starts at a certain temperature, or you can adjust it manually.
Q2: Why is my 2019 Intel MacBook Pro only getting 10Gbps speeds?
A: Some Thunderbolt 3 systems aren’t fully compatible with Thunderbolt 5 enclosures and may default to USB mode. For best results, use a Thunderbolt 3/4 40Gbps enclosure with older Thunderbolt 3 devices.
