- Recording media compatibility: Most drives mentioned are standard SATA SSD drives. Insert them into the Master Caddy II for a secure fit across all monitor recorders. CFast 2.0 cards require the additional AtomX CFast Adapter.
- General hints for drive compatibility: There is a wide variety of 2.5-inch SSD drives available. Only the sustained write speed is important for video and RAW recording. The AtomX SSDmini is designed to fit the form factor of Ninja and Neon. By installing the optional SSDmini handle, it extends to the form factor of the Master Caddy II. CFast 1 cards can be used with the AtomX CFast Adapter to load LUTs or install firmware updates, but they are unsuitable for recording. 2.5-inch HDDs from legacy products may still be compatible for external recording, but not beyond 1080p30.
