Do I need Wi-Fi to use Key Light Neo?
No. Key Light Neo works straight out of the box over USB power with no app or Wi-Fi required. Connecting it to Wi-Fi is optional and unlocks remote control and scene presets through the Elgato Control Center app.
What is the maximum brightness?
Key Light Neo reaches up to 1000 lumens when powered by a 3A USB power supply. Brightness is lower when powered directly from a USB-A (400 lm) or USB-C (700 lm) port on a computer or hub.
Can I mount it without the included stand?
Yes. The included monitor mount has a standard 1/4" thread, so it can also be attached to a tripod, mic stand, or any other 1/4"-thread mounting accessory.
Does it work with a Mac?
Yes. Key Light Neo works over USB power with any Mac, and Wi-Fi control is supported on macOS Monterey 12 or later via the Elgato Control Center app.
Is the Silver and Black version the same specification?
Yes. Both colour options share identical specifications, brightness, and features. The only difference is the finish of the housing.
