The Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to SDI is a compact NDI decoder that converts a live NDI or IP video stream into a standard 3G-SDI signal, connecting your IP-based media network into baseband presentation or distribution equipment. It decodes NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX, NDI HX2, and NDI HX3 streams, along with RTSP, HTTP, HLS, RTMP, and MPEG-TS over UDP/SRT/RTP, so a single decoder can pull from a wide range of NDI and streaming sources.
Output runs up to 1920x1080 60fps over SD/HD/3G-SDI with 8-channel 48KHz audio, and the SDI signal can be transmitted over 100m of cable. The device can be powered over its network connection via PoE, or via the included USB power adapter, giving installers flexibility in how it's wired into a rack or AV setup. A 1/4-20 threaded mounting hole on the base accepts standard tripod and camera mounting hardware.
Configuration is handled through an intuitive Web GUI, Magewell's Control Hub, on-board MENU/SELECT buttons, or a 16-position rotary DIP switch for setting a board index across multi-unit installs.
