The Magewell Pro Convert HDMI TX turns an HD HDMI source into a full NDI video stream, feeding it straight into your production switcher, video conferencing platform, or live streaming workflow over a standard Ethernet network. It accepts HDMI input up to 2048x1200 60fps 4:4:4/4:2:2, encoding it as NDI High Bandwidth for any NDI-enabled software or hardware to receive.
Setup is plug-and-play with automatic input format detection and DHCP network configuration. Connect HDMI in, plug in Ethernet (with PoE support so a single cable can power the unit), and it appears as an NDI source on your network. A shared Mini-DIN-8 jack handles both PTZ camera control (VISCA, VISCA UDP, VISCA UDP2rs232, PELCO-P, PELCO-D over NDI) and tally light output, making it a compact fit for live production and conferencing setups.
