The Magewell Ultra Stream HDMI is a standalone streaming and recording encoder that takes any HDMI source straight to Facebook Live, YouTube, Twitch, or your own RTMP/RTMPS server, no computer required. Connect your camera, switcher, or other HDMI source, tap a button (or use the app), and you are live. HDMI loop-through means your local display keeps showing the source at full quality throughout.
Beyond live streaming, the Ultra Stream HDMI doubles as a standalone recorder, saving H.264 or HEVC encoded MP4 or MOV files to its internal 32GB storage, a connected USB flash drive, or a paired smartphone, simultaneously if needed. It connects to the network over wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or an optional 3G/4G USB modem, so it works equally well tethered to a router or completely wireless in the field. A dedicated smartphone app and browser-based Web UI give you full control, and HTTP APIs are available for custom integration into existing production workflows.
