The Magewell Ultra Stream SDI is a standalone streaming and recording encoder that takes an SD/HD/3G-SDI source straight to Facebook Live, YouTube, Twitch, or your own RTMP/RTMPS server, no computer required. Connect your camera, switcher, or other SDI source, tap a button (or use the app), and you are live. SDI loop-through means your existing signal chain keeps receiving the source at full quality throughout.
Beyond live streaming, the Ultra Stream SDI doubles as a standalone recorder, saving H.264 or HEVC encoded MP4 or MOV files to its internal 32GB storage, a connected USB flash drive, or a paired smartphone, simultaneously if needed. It connects to the network over wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or an optional 3G/4G USB modem, so it works equally well tethered to a router or completely wireless in the field. A dedicated smartphone app and browser-based Web UI give you full control, and HTTP APIs are available for custom integration into existing production workflows.

A: It supports SD (SMPTE ST 259), HD (ST 292) and 3Ga/3Gb (ST 425) SDI standards, with input and loop-through up to 2048x1080 60fps. It does not support 6G or 12G SDI, for those you would need the Pro Convert SDI 4K Plus.
