The 600MHz HDMI receiver handles HDMI 2.0 signals at full bandwidth — 4Kp60 4:4:4 on input and loop-through, with 4K30 capture output over USB 3.0. The FPGA processing engine delivers ~640 Mpixels/s bandwidth — four times the HDMI Plus — handling all scaling, de-interlacing, and format conversion without touching your CPU. The same plug-and-play simplicity applies: connect, and your software sees it instantly.

A: The key difference is capture output resolution. The HDMI Plus accepts 4K input but can only capture up to 2K — it downscales automatically. The HDMI 4K Plus can capture the full 4K signal, up to 4096x2160 at 30fps. If you need to archive or stream at 4K, the 4K Plus is the right choice. For 1080p streaming and recording, the standard HDMI Plus is sufficient and more affordable.
Q: Does it capture 4K at 60fps?
A: The HDMI input and loop-through support 4K60 at full 4:4:4 quality. Capture output via USB 3.0 is limited to 4K30 — the bandwidth of USB 3.0 (5Gbps) is the constraint. For 4K60 capture output, you need the HDMI 4K Pro which uses USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 at 20Gbps.
