SDI is the signal standard of professional broadcast: more robust than HDMI over long cable runs, with embedded audio and a locking BNC connector that doesn't fall out mid-recording. The USB Capture SDI Plus handles SD, HD, and 3G-SDI signals up to 2048x1080 at 60fps, covers all standard broadcast frame rates, and passes the signal through to downstream SDI equipment via its BNC loop-through output. A 3.5mm line input lets you mix in analog audio from a mixer or other source alongside the SDI-embedded audio.

Same FPGA processing architecture as the HDMI Plus — zero CPU overhead, with full scaling, de-interlacing, and format conversion handled on-device. Works on Mac, Windows, Linux and Chrome OS with OBS, Teams, Zoom Rooms, QuickTime and any other DirectShow/V4L2/AVCaptureSession application.
