While this upgrade kit itself should not void your warranty, the installation process is very complex and thus it is recommended to be performed by a trained professional. Flexx International Ltd assumes no responsibility for damage that may occur during the installation.
IMPORTANT: Due to international air shipping regulations, we cannot ship the contents of the adhesive removal bottle. However, the battery replacement process requires an adhesive remover, and 100% acetone is recommended. We have provided the empty bottle for your convenience. The volume of the bottle is the exact measurement of 100% acetone required to accomplish the battery replacement. Please follow all safety precautions when acquiring and using the acetone.

Battery replacement went really smoothly, the old battery coming out easier than expected. Acetone cleaned up the remains of the original glue, and the new battery fitted perfectly. The trackpad works so much better when it's not being pushed up from underneath by a swollen battery!
