Seems to work as it should in my mid 2011 27" iMac with no fan issues so far. I changed the original hard drive for an internal SSD attaching the sensor directly to the SSD case (close to connectors). All very simple but seems pretty expensive for what it is.
Part was dispatched 5mins after I placed the order, and delivered next day. Service was A* and happy to be a repeat customer
