The downstream Thunderbolt 5 port keeps external SSDs and RAID enclosures running at their full rated speed, so the dock is never the bottleneck. A 2.5GbE port handles NAS workflows and corporate networking without Wi-Fi latency or dropped connections, and UHS-II SD and microSD slots pull footage directly from camera cards.
Configuration and safe removal are handled through OWC Dock Ejector, which unmounts every connected drive in a single click, while OWC Innergize monitors the health, performance, and firmware of OWC Atlas SD memory cards used with the dock's card reader. The dock supports both horizontal and vertical desk placement, and runs silently with a fanless passive heat dissipating design.
