TEAMGROUP GX2 2.5 Inch SATA III SSD

A: The TEAMGROUP GX2 is available here in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. It is a 2.5-inch SSD with a SATA III 6Gb/s interface and a 7 mm height (100 x 69.9 x 7 mm).

A: Sequential read is 500 MB/s on the 256GB and 530 MB/s on the 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. Sequential write is 400 MB/s (256GB), 430 MB/s (512GB), 480 MB/s (1TB) and 500 MB/s (2TB). TEAMGROUP measured these with CrystalDiskMark on a completely new and unused drive, and results vary with your system and test conditions.

A: It fits systems with a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay, and the 7 mm height suits slimmer bays. TEAMGROUP recommends checking that your device, motherboard, processor and BIOS support the SSD before buying, because some older chipset motherboards and laptops may not support newer interface SSDs. Updating the BIOS before installation is also recommended.

A: Total Bytes Written (TBW) is 80TBW for the 256GB, 120TBW for the 512GB, 200TBW for the 1TB and 400TBW for the 2TB, calculated to JEDEC standards. The warranty is 3 years limited, or the TBW rating, whichever comes first. MTBF is 1,000,000 hours.

A: The GX2 supports S.M.A.R.T. drive monitoring, the Windows TRIM command and DevSleep mode, and uses garbage collection, wear-leveling and ECC. TEAMGROUP also lists LDPC and E2E data protection. The GX2 has no DRAM cache.
