The kit as it arrived is a good thing, seemingly well designed to extend the active life of a Mac Pro trashcan; my only problem with it is that it doesn’t work in the MP. The SSD appears as a completely sensible thing if placed in an external drive casing, formatting/writing as expected. When put in my MP6,1 it simply disappears. It’s been returned to Flexx once already, and they could find no problem, so I’ve given it up as just one of those things. Flexx have been very helpful but this thing simply doesn’t work for me.
Item came quickly and works perfectly.
